Half-Day Session — 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time

Certificate Issued Upon Completion.

This half-day seminar leverages the information you learned in the Incoterms 2020 Rules seminar by evaluating the rules and responsibilities of each of the Incoterms, so you can decide which term or terms is the best fit for your company and why. The instructor uses case studies to identify the most appropriate terms to use in various situations including the impact each term has on cost and risk during transportation and the buyer's and seller's obligations.

IMPORTANT: This webinar will focus on the most commonly used Incoterms, which would be terms for goods shipped in a container.

If you take this seminar, you will learn:

  • The responsibilities and obligations for the seller and the buyer under each of the terms.
  • The application of the 11 Incoterms trade terms.
  • Negotiating strategies and tactics.
  • Incoterms rules as applied to freight prepaid and freight collect shipments.

All attendees receive a reference book to serve as a day-to-day guide.

Seminar refund policy. IBT will issue a complete refund if you cancel 30 or more days before the seminar date. No refunds are given for cancellations received within 30 days of the seminar. Cancellations received less than 30 days before the seminar are subject to a $125 transfer fee.
