This 10-week correspondence
course is designed to assist you in preparing and
passing the U.S. Customs and Border Protection licensing examination.
It is also highly recommended for importers who
want to meet the "Reasonable Care" requirements
under the Customs Modernization Act.
The
course gives you an in-depth, hands on approach
to study with on-going access to the instructor.
Students can email questions to the instructor
at any time throughout the course. You will learn
by reviewing previous Customs exams and taking
frequent quizzes based on actual and anticipated
exam questions. You will be given tips to enable
you to successfully pass the intensive 4-hour exam.
The examination is given twice a year at most
Customs ports on the first Monday in April and
in October.
We recommend that you have at least six months
experience working with Customs' import documentation
and procedures before taking this course.
