  • Successfully complete Customs Form 7501 Entry and other import documents.

Full-Day Session - 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
$495 - View Schedule
Certificate Issued Upon Completion.

It's a new world since 9/11. New import regulations put importers on the front line against terrorism with a series of new requirements and responsibilities. This seminar reviews these responsibilities and teaches you how to protect your company from unnecessary delays in getting your goods through Customs and avoid significant penalties.

Your instructor will guide you through the process of properly classifying your goods under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, discuss the six different ways to determine the value of your goods, and outline the documents you must complete and the other entry procedures you must follow to clear your goods through Customs. You'll also be given an overview of the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), a program designed to speed your import process.

Come to this one-day seminar armed with your questions. Small class sizes and a knowledgeable teacher allow for a great interaction between attendees and the instructor. All attendees receive the Importing Procedures & U.S. Customs Regulations workbook to serve as a day-to-day reference guide.
