Tracy Smith is a licensed U.S. Customs Broker with
more than 15 years experience in global logistics and
international trade compliance. As the Manager
of Logistics and Trade Compliance for Dakota
International Trading her emphasis is on legal
compliance and cost effectiveness while driving internal
and external supply chain efficiencies for Dakota International
Trading and its clients.
Prior to Dakota International Trading, Tracy worked
at Gateway Companies in North Sioux City, South Dakota,
for 13 years holding various positions including Manager
of Logistics and Trade Compliance. While at Gateway
she was responsible for their import and export operations
and for managing their trade compliance group, policies
and procedures.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Tracy is an
avid horse enthusiast and owns a small farm with her
husband in Southeastern South Dakota.
