Richard Vitas Palaikis II is the founder of North
American Logistics, L.L.C., International Trade Compliance
Group which is located in Michigan. His company provides
consultation services to ensure compliance with U.S.
customs regulations and procedures. In addition to
consultation services, the company also offers clients
with U.S. customs brokerage services.
Mr. Palaikis has extensive knowledge of U.S. Customs
regulations and procedures to ensure import/export
compliance as mandated by the U.S. Department of Homeland
Security, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP). He
also has extensive knowledge regarding Canadian Customs
Regulations and Procedures. In addition to writing
for International Business Training, Mr. Palaikis is
also a special advisor and author/instructor for the
electronic Business School of Ireland.
Mr. Palaikis is a graduate of the University of Windsor
(Ontario, Canada) with a concentration on International
Trade Management, and has received a National Diploma
of International Trade Management issued by the Forum
for International Trade Training (Ottawa, Canada). The
Forum for International Trade Training is accredited
by the International Association of Trade Training Organisations
(IATTO).
